Studi preliminari su degradazione fisica e stabilità dell'alveo del F. Cecina
Main Article Content
Abstract
Preliminary data on the morphological evolution of the Cecina riverbed, following the cessation of bed material extraction, are reported. Recovery phases and related instability phenomena are studied employing specific aerial photographic techniques and experimental ground surveys are carried out before and after floods. The methodology allows the observation of a number of processes affecting the main physiographic units making up a gravel streambed and a pseudomeandering stream like the Cecina River.
