Abstract

Eucladoceros cf. senezensis Deperet, 1910, a typical cervid of Villafranchian, is recorded for the first time from a lacustrine basin at Steggio (Possagno, Treviso, Northeastern Italy). The specimen, in association with rodents referred to Mimomys, is a shed antler similar to the largest specimens from Senéze (Massif Central, France). The lacustrine basin is referred to the Late Pliocene-Earliest Pleistocene.
