Abstract
The aim of the present paper is to give information about the researches which have bean carried aut on deep-seated gravitational deformations all over the word. For this reason a list of publications (written in Italian, English, French and German) regarding the above mentioned phenomena is here prasented. The authors show the existence of different scientific schools characterized by different approaches in tha study of this subject. Moreover tha evolution of theories and ideas with respect to the interpretation of the phenomena is given.
