Abstract
Only in recent years has periglacial morphogenesis been examined in terms of its importance in the evolution of the ltalian landscape during Quaternary. An ever-increasing number of studies has demonstrated the raie played by frost phenomena in the genesis of characteristic landforms and stratified slope-waste deposits.
