Abstract
Palaeobotanical publications in ltaly in the past sixteen years have mainly been concerned with palaeobotany or archaeobotany, i.e., the study of plant remains linked to prehistoric and historic human life (e.g., seeds, fruits, charred wood, wooden objects, wooden structures).
