Suoli sepolti del Pleistocene superiore nella Sardegna sud-occidentale
Main Article Content
Abstract
In order to investigate climatic changes in Sardinia during the Upper Pleistocene, buried soils intercalated with eolian and slope deposits dating to this period were studied in two stratigraphic sections along the south-western coast of Sardinia. Physico-chemical and micromorphological characteristics indicate that soil evolution took place under seasonally contrasting climatic conditions, with wet and dry seasons during Pleniglacial and Late-Glacial interstadials.
