Main Article Content
Abstract
This report presents a chronological and paleoclimatic overview of the time interval between the Late Glacial and the early Holocene. The principal chronological subdivisions currently adopted in Europe are discussed in connection with the problems involved in 14C dating. This study provides an overview of the evolution of the paleoclimate mainly on the basis of the Greenland ice-core records.
